About Ayurgramam Hospital

Authentic Ayurvedic heritage. Personalised healthcare. Serving patients since 1950.

Introduction

An institution, not simply a clinic

Ayurgramam Hospital brings together traditional Ayurvedic knowledge and structured clinical practice. Every patient begins with an individual assessment, and care is planned by qualified healthcare professionals alongside patient education, rehabilitation and wellness services.

The organisation has grown from its 1950 heritage into a multi-centre institution across Kerala, while continuing to serve patients with compassion and professionalism. Clinical documentation, consent, follow-up and continuous professional development sit at the centre of how care is delivered.

Alongside patient care, Ayurgramam invests in education and training, supporting the next generation of practitioners and therapists, and in accessible services for patients travelling from other states and countries.

Core values

What guides every decision

Authenticity

Classical Kerala Ayurveda practised as it was taught, documented and preserved.

Integrity

Honest counsel, transparent pricing and no guaranteed-cure claims.

Compassion

Unhurried listening and dignity at every point of contact.

Clinical Excellence

Assessment-led planning by qualified professionals.

Continuous Learning

Structured training, audit and supervision for every team.

Patient-Centred Care

The plan is built around the person, not the protocol.

Integrated healthcare philosophy

Classical Ayurvedic assessment is combined with modern investigations, rehabilitation and lifestyle medicine. Where conventional care is needed, we say so — our physicians work alongside your existing doctors rather than replacing them.

Kerala Ayurvedic heritage

Panchakarma, Marma and Kalari traditions are practised as they were taught in Kerala, with preparations, sequencing and seasonal timing preserved and documented rather than shortened into packages.

Patient-first approach

Unhurried consultation, explained findings, written home guidance and follow-up that continues after discharge. Nobody is treated before they have been understood.

Quality standards

Safety written into daily practice

Documented protocols, hygiene standards, patient privacy, secure medical records and continuous improvement across every centre.

Clinical Protocols

Every treatment follows a documented pathway: assessment, plan, informed consent, delivery, review. Therapies are prescribed by qualified physicians and delivered by trained therapists under supervision.

Hygiene Standards

Scheduled cleaning and disinfection of therapy rooms, single-use disposables where applicable, laundered linen per patient, and documented oil and medicine handling procedures.

Patient Privacy

Private consultation, gender-appropriate therapist allocation, curtained and enclosed therapy spaces, and confidentiality obligations for every member of staff.

Medical Records

Digital records with restricted, role-based access. Records are retained securely, shared only with consent, and available to the patient on request.

Continuous Improvement

Internal audit, patient feedback review, incident reporting and periodic refresher training for clinical and therapy teams.

Research & innovation

Structured case documentation, outcome tracking and academic collaboration support the responsible study of classical treatments. Findings inform our protocols; they are never used to promise guaranteed results.

Technology supports rather than replaces the physician: digital records, video consultation and follow-up reminders keep care continuous for patients across Kerala and abroad.

Awards & recognition

Formal recognitions, accreditations and institutional awards will be listed here as they are received and independently verified.

We publish only recognitions that can be substantiated, in keeping with our commitment to honest communication.
